This bachelor thesis evaluates the implementation of an integrated patient journey for breast cancer patients at Bürgerspital Solothurn. Using literature review and qualitative interviews, the project assesses how interdisciplinary care pathways can improve patient-centered care while remaining economically sustainable. The study identifies opportunities to strengthen communication, coordination, evaluation methods, and resource allocation, and proposes an improved patient journey model together with an evaluation framework to support long-term value creation.
